There is no consensus on any one method of teaching adults in all situations given divergent learning styles, backgrounds, and needs. While it may not be possible to construct a course which is all things to all students, it is possible to make some changes which research claims will help. One these pages, ideas will be proposed and suggestions made for modifying various aspects of a course. These suggestions and ideas will be linked to a bibliography of the texts, research, and articles which support these suggestions.
As educators, we cannot do it all but we can begin to incorporate changes which will make classrooms better places to learn.
